The Real Madrid away shirt 2018/19 was launched after the club's third consecutive Champions League triumph. However, the summer brought significant changes, as both Cristiano Ronaldo and Zinédine Zidane left Madrid after several successful years at the Santiago Bernabéu.
Adidas opted for an elegant dark design for the away kit, combined with white details and the characteristic three stripes. The Fly Emirates sponsor on the front completes a simple Madrid look that stands in clear contrast to the club's traditional white home kit.
2018/19 also marked the beginning of a new generation. Vinícius Júnior arrived from Flamengo and began to show his enormous potential, while Karim Benzema took on greater offensive responsibility after Ronaldo's departure.
The squad still included several players from the legendary Champions League generation, including Sergio Ramos, Luka Modrić, Toni Kroos, Marcelo, and Gareth Bale. Modrić also entered the season as one of the world's most acclaimed players and won the Ballon d'Or in 2018.
