Bendtner 32, Wembley, and an authentic player's edition from the Carling Cup final – this Arsenal jersey was specifically made for Nicklas Bendtner for the 2011 final against Birmingham but was not worn in the match.
This Arsenal home shirt 2010/11 with Bendtner 32 is an original Match Issue jersey from the Carling Cup final against Birmingham City at Wembley. The jersey was produced and prepared specifically for Nicklas Bendtner but was not used in the actual match. It is therefore a player-issued jersey and not a Matchworn model.
The jersey's provenance makes it extra interesting, as it comes from a large and recognized English Arsenal collector. The combination of the specific final match, Bendtner 32, and the Match Issue specifications gives the jersey a completely different collector's value than the regular commercial versions from the season.
Nike was behind the classic Arsenal design with the red body, white sleeves, and the Fly Emirates sponsor on the front. On the back, you'll find Bendtner 32, while the player's edition of the jersey is made for professional match use.
Nicklas Bendtner was part of Arsène Wenger's squad and had already built up a special status among both Danish and English Arsenal fans. Number 32 became closely associated with the striker's years in North London, making this player's edition extra interesting for Danish collectors.
The Carling Cup final was played at Wembley against Birmingham City and ended in a dramatic 2-1 defeat for Arsenal. Bendtner did not start the final, and this jersey remained unused – but was specifically made for him in connection with the match.
An extremely rare Match Issue Arsenal jersey with documented connection to a specific final and strong provenance. An exceptional collector's item for fans of Nicklas Bendtner, Arsenal, and authentic player editions.
