One of the most significant Arsenal shirts of the 00s – the long-sleeved burgundy Highbury model with Thierry Henry 14 on the back. This edition is size L and a fantastic example of a shirt that has long since achieved cult status among Gunners collectors.

The Arsenal home shirt 2005/06 with Henry 14 was created for a very special occasion. The season marked the club's last year at Highbury, and therefore Arsenal temporarily abandoned the traditional bright red colour in favour of the dark burgundy shade, which referenced back to the club's first years at the stadium.

The golden Nike details, the classic O2 sponsor, and the long sleeves give the model an elegant look that stands out significantly from almost all other Arsenal home shirts. With Henry 14 on the back, the connection to Highbury's last great season is complete.

It was in 2005/06 that Thierry Henry wrote another chapter in Arsenal's history. As captain, he led the team through the last season at Highbury, while also surpassing Ian Wright to become the club's all-time leading scorer.

On the European stage, Arsenal simultaneously delivered a historic Champions League campaign. The Gunners eliminated Real Madrid, Juventus, and Villarreal, among others, on their way to the club's first Champions League final, where Barcelona awaited them in Paris.

Henry led a squad with names like Robert Pirès, Freddie Ljungberg, Cesc Fàbregas, Gilberto Silva, and Jens Lehmann. It was the end of an era and the final farewell to a stadium that had been Arsenal's home since 1913.

The long-sleeved Henry 14 version therefore combines several elements that Arsenal collectors seek: a unique anniversary design, the club's greatest goalscorer, the last Highbury season, and one of the most recognisable Nike designs from the period.

IMPORTANT RECOMMENDATION:

As we sell vintage football shirts that may be many years old, it is not possible to know with certainty how they will react to washing.

If you wish to wash the shirt, we recommend washing it by hand.
